Background
Mike is the Principal of Turtair Capital Advisors and has more than 30 years of financial industry experience, including as a Managing Director with JPMorgan in Hong Kong, China and Chicago, IL, and as a practicing CPA at PwC in Chicago.
Relevant Experience
Mike has worked with and advised $200+ million family offices, retired CEOs and COOs of multi-billion-dollar public companies, deca-million-dollar foundations and not-for-profits, small business retirement plans as well as entrepreneurs, doctors and wealthy individuals and families.
Before Turtair Capital Advisors, Mike was with JPMorgan Private Bank as a Managing Director and Senior Advisor in the Midwest.
Mike also has over a decade of global investment banking experience, including as a Managing Director and Group Head of Asia Pacific TMT Banking with JPMorgan in Hong Kong, China. Additionally, he spent time in New York City as a Vice President in Mergers and Acquisitions with BofA Merrill Lynch Institutional Banking.
Prior to his finance experience, Mike spent several years in accounting with PwC in Chicago, preparing small business financial statements as well as completing personal and small business tax returns.
Education and Training
Mike received his MBA in Finance from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and practiced in both tax and audit departments with PwC.
